Maybe this will help a little:

A while back my youngest was asked to clean up his mess of toys. He lost it because he was so overwhelmed by it all. So instead of looking at it as a big giant ball of chaos, we worked on one ‘set’ of toys at a time. Before he knew it he had cleaned everything up...all I did was tell him to look at it as a series of small messes all jumbled together instead of one big one.

While that isn’t always the case with more adult stuff, sometimes taking a step back and a deep breath to steady yourself, and suddenly the path to resolving things appears and while still daunting is no longer so overwhelming.

Got my taxes back so I can finally handle some financial ouchies I have....

Am 8 days away from being able to socialize again....and a bit scared and excited at the same time.

While I cannot fully relate to your loss, I do empathize, because losing somebody you are close to sucks…and hurts like hell.

I absolutely sympathize with being to lost in my own head. A lot of it honestly has to do with just being in a routine that offers little leeway for social activities of any kind.

And I keep finding myself switching from the mindsets of, “oh god if I don’t get laid I will chew something off” and, “my sexual preference is Go Away”.

And since my brain doesn’t want a middle ground of any kind I am a bit leery of people-ing…..which of course doesn’t make things better.

I wish visiting all of you was an option, just because some friendly nonjudgmental faces would be so nice. Also, hugs.

l read your words and so many things rush into my mind that l can't explain.
The farm is empty this time of year everyone goes on holiday its really just Miz and me and a few of the farm guys so its extra tough. My brother thinks we should go back to England for a snit but l don't know.
Anway l have to stop a bad habit l am doing to much drinking.
We give up a lot to be in this family but what comes back is wonderful.
Just always remember we care.

I do know that you care. That all of you care. Never met you in person but you feel more real than some people I have called friends- and family.

If it is feasible and safe to do so, maybe go and visit family back there. If not…there are always zoom calls..

As far as the drinking goes….I would suggest anytime you want to have one, maybe take a walk, or watch some tv, or better still find something to keep your hands and mind occupied o you don’t think about doing it as often.

My biggest issue of late has been hovering on social media, and I have been trying to do anything to keep my hands off my phone, including something I rarely do: binge watching tv.

If we were more located in a more geographically friendly situation commute wise I would offer to invite you over to play video games or something….even if that’s not something you are at all inclined towards, just because one a friendly face; two, a distraction; and three, it would help me too.

I am here for you, as best I can be.
